In Door County transportation is a basic need. It can be a hardship for people who do not have access to safe, reliable, and affordable transportation. Door County Connect - Public Transit services are here to help and is your public transit service to get you to school, work, medical care, shopping, etc.

GIFTS OF MOBILITY FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Looking for that perfect gift for a loved one this year. Consider buying them tickets for Door County Connect (ADRC service) or Door 2 Door Rides. Each book has 10 rides at a cost of $20 per book. SERVICES:

Door 2 Door Rides (D2D):
Door County Connect-Public Transit offers a shared ride taxi service that provides rides throughout most of Door County. Service is broken down by zone areas.

Service schedules and costs are based on the zone you are traveling to and from. Based on demand, some areas of Door County are provided service Monday through Sunday and some are provided service Monday through Friday.

Door County Connect (formerly called ADRC Bus/Van Service):
Provides rides throughout the City of Sturgeon Bay and an extended area up to 10 miles from the ADRC. Service is available Monday through Thursday, 7:45 am - 4:15 pm and Friday 7:45 am - 1:15 pm.

Riders pay $2.00 per stop in the City and $5.00 per trip in the extended area. Travelers who are within the City service area and have lunch at the ADRC in Sturgeon Bay pay a half price fare.

PARTNER SERVICE:

Door County also partners with Door-Tran, a local non-profit organization. Door County Connect shares a wheelchair accessible van, the County Veteran’s Services Office covers fuel costs, and Door-Tran staff and volunteer drivers provide the ride. Because of this three-way partnership, Door County veterans can access a no cost ride when traveling outside of the County for medical services.
